Fast forward a few years and Essentially, our brains process visual, semantic, and phonological cues within 300 milliseconds, which is what allows us to read and comprehend words. - Working on Writing- commenting on our blog. Last school year I will take an informal running record to gather fluency data while they are reading and also take data on their accuracy with answering comprehension questions. Daily Warm-Ups: Nonfiction Reading, Grade 3 (TCR5033) 150 nonfiction reading passages and multiple choice questions designed to reinforce reading comprehension skills ranging from basic recall to critical thinking.
